Plan & organize a successful move



PLANNING

To begin plans for moving your home or office, it is best to make specific lists to help reduce unnecessary work and keep anxiety levels at a minimum. 

(1) Pre-Packing List

CATEGORIZED PACKING LIST
Make a list of items or goods that you are going to pack and move to another location. Categorizing them helps you to get a better idea on how many storage boxes you will need for moving.

TIMETABLE
Setting up a detailed timetable will avoid confusion and chaos. Consider setting up schedules for cancelling, registering, or update of accounts as listed below:

(2) Moving List

LABELS & NUMBERS
Label all moving boxes and packages with a brief description of its contents.

COLOUR COORDINATE
Colour-code all boxes that are to be moved to the same room or area. For example:

An inventory list that includes codes of your labels, numbers and colour will help to organize the move better. Afterwards you will also have an effortless experience to unpack all boxes.

(3) Reminder

HOME OR OFFICE INSURANCE
Speak to your insurance agent and have your home or office insurance properly adjusted to accommodate the moving process. Although the moving company is fully covered and insured, it’s best that you make sure your insurance covers you for a transition period at both the old and new location.
